About Bees

  • Bees are flower-feeding flying insects which collect nectar and pollen from wildflowers.
  • They commonly live in colonies with three different types of bees:
  • Queen Bee — only job is to lay eggs for the span of her life.
  • The Drone (male) — only job is to mate with the queen and then die soon after fulfilling that task.
  • The Infertile Worker (female) — clean the hive, collect pollen and nectar to feed the colony, take care of the offspring.

Assess first, then act

  • We always assess the species and location before recommending treatment.
  • When relocation is the right call, we coordinate with local beekeepers.
  • When treatment is required for safety, we use targeted methods that protect the rest of your yard.
